Our Guiding Principles
Zero waste.
Consumables to be natural and packaging biodegradable/compostable.
Suppliers & partner selection based on: sustainability focused business, ethically sourced & natural products, local business.
Source second hand and upcycled rather than new (reuse earth’s precious resources).
Source high quality, long lasting items & furnishings (reduce landfill).
Give back to support community and environmental initiatives & action groups.

We took the Ecotourism Australia’s Strive 4 Sustainability Scorecard – a program to gain a snapshot of our current sustainability practices and where we can improve against the four pillars of sustainability:
- sustainable management,
- environmental impacts,
- cultural impacts, and
- socio-economic impacts.
We’re thrilled with our 91%, but also keen to improve to 100% next time.
Thank you Ecotourism Australia for providing this awesome program.
