Generally when we travel we focus on exploring places and experiences rather than spending time at luxury stays. But on occasion, a romantic getaway is perfect to pause daily life in Melbourne and spend quality time with my partner. We booked this unique stay at Yurt Hideaway and it was just what we needed. It gave us a chance to chill out together and experience #yurtlife in a traditional Mongolian Yurt.
The yurt is a gorgeous space, perfect for a romantic couple’s getaway in Victoria. Only an hour’s drive from Melbourne, with your own private space with the beach nearby.
The amazing hosts made sure everything was perfect. We loved the special touches like the cold sparkling wine on arrival, welcome pack, and the blissful bathroom products. The sleep pack with camomile tea bag at the beside was so very thoughtful making us feel looked after.
As an added extra, we choose the breakfast box. We enjoyed the morning light in the yurt’s courtyard and the amazing breakfast by A Good Little Thing café ordered through our host, Kelly. There is a great range of tea and coffee provided, and I was happy to find my favourite, Jasmine Green Tea.
Yurt Hideaway is the ideal place for a romantic weekend getaway in Victoria. In fact, I’d also recommend it for a longer stay to take a well deserved break together.
