We stayed three nights at Kelly's Yurt Hideaway and it was a magical experience that allowed us to truly relax and unwind. It is closely located to Mornington Peninsula attractions, with Hot Springs a 5 min drive away.
Our expectations were blown out of the water upon first entering the yurt. It is spacious, clean and beautifully decorated with a whole bunch of amenities to make your stay as comfortable and homely as possible, including a welcome goodie pack to take home with eco-responsible… read more and locally sourced treats, board games, room spray, earplugs, heater and extra blankets for cold nights. It is a quiet and private space - you'd have no idea you're tucked in the suburbia of Mornington Peninsula!
Outside the yurt is a small kitchenette and an outdoor seating area, again well-appointed with quality appliances and a small garden with fruit trees and herbs for you to use for any cooking you might do there. The separate bathroom with toilet and shower is also spotlessly clean and very easy to use and access.
Best of all is Kelly's hospitality - she truly goes above and beyond for guests. From initial booking to reaching out with instructions upon checking and checking out, we felt warmly looked after and taken care of. She has clearly put in incredible efforts to make our and others' experiences as perfect as possible, and it shows!!
In a time where other AirBnB businesses are becoming increasingly expensive and demanding on its guests, I can't recommend Kelly's Yurt enough. We have stayed at many AirBnBs and hotels and this is by far, our favourite experience to date.

Yoga & Deep Relaxation Classes

Our instructors, are teachers of traditional yoga, breathing, relaxation and meditation. These ancient arts of mind-body practice bring balance and harmony.
The private classes adjusted to suit all levels of ability and experience.
The Geodesic Dome, located at the front of the property conducted, is the yoga practice room, making it a one-of-a-kind experience.
All equipment will be provided, including yoga mats and blankets, you are also welcome to bring you own if you prefer.
Classes include a powerful combination of yoga poses, breathwork and a deep relaxation practice.
Yoga & Breath
Firstly, classes begin with a short settling. This is followed by yoga poses (asana) integrated with breath to deepen the mind and body connection. Yoga poses are not necessarily physically difficult, the focus is on maintaining awareness of movement and synchronisation with the breath.
After the physical poses, we move to the practice of Pranayama (breathwork). This is a more subtle practice. The focus on the breath during pranayama, allows the mind to become internalised and still.
Deep Relaxation & Meditation
The final practice is Yoga Nidra, this is a very simple yet powerful deep relaxation that provides many of the benefits of an advanced meditation. Yoga Nidra is a guided relaxation that is easy to follow while comfortably laying in Shavasana (laying on the back).
As the last practice of the class, Yoga Nidra is the final step in envoking balance and harmony. This practice can bring a renewed sense of contentment and overall wellbeing.
